Secretary asking whether the Government would procure a grant for the building C. I received then a letter from Dr. Viti, the Government Inspector of Schools, by which I was informed that my application was Not in order. D. I replied to it explaining
the reasons of me
of my having formerly written And I requested that my letter should have been laid before His Excellency the Governor. E. No answer has been got yet.
Now His Lordship the Vicar Apostolic
has returned and requests me to write again.
The new College is completed. The site And building
have been visited and are open to everyone, who wants to inspect them. The building
as it can be seen
by everyone to be visited, is fit for day schools and residence of the teachers. Only one room is used to lodge a few pupils not receiving tuition. Six who have not their parents in Hong Kong. The fees got from them go towards making up
the loss on the day. Scholars

are carried on both on the view
to make profit and never has done so.
