future alteration of the Grant in aid Scheme which you wish to introduce into the terms of the Trust Deed, a grant can be made under the provisions of Rule 29 of the Grant-in-aid scheme.
I may inform you at once that if the Trust Deed is drafted as you describe it to be, I am prepared to recommend to the Government to admit the reservation you refer to and to accept the Trust Deed in the form you propose as it appears to me to be in accordance with the principles of Grant-in-aid scheme which admit perfect freedom in religious matters.
