3. Are the managers of the school to be allowed to enter in their trust deed contemporaneously pledging to themselves always to keep the building for educational purposes? In itself I see nothing unreasonable in this request. I reservation might get concurred. but the trusteed and the precedent would be bad. I would therefore refuse it while at the same time assuring the managers that their religious scruples will not be outraged. I doubt if the managers will be satisfied with this & with the amount of grant and I shall be sorry & say they withdraw their school which seems to
