In the event
of Mr. Allum
being appointed at once, I would recommend that Mr. Lincoin, Hospital Warder in the Gaol, be appointed acting Compounder to the Hospital while my Int. Allum did the whole of the
analytical work pending the arrival from home of a permanent Officer for the post of Hospital Apothecary. The pay to be divided between them proportionally.
