Arranged to be paid in twelve annual instalments
together with free quarters for a
single man,
fuel and lighting;
these additional advantages being
valued at $480 per annum.
The candidate appointed will
be called upon to give personal
security with two sureties, each
for $200, severally, and jointly for $200,
and will be provided with
a free passage (first class) to the Colony,
subject to the usual agreement, to
stay for three years.
He will be treated in all respects as a
serving member of the Hongkong Government.
