I have the honour to forward herewith a letter from Dr Eitel which he has requested me to send with any remarks I may wish to make as to the mistake in document No 50 of the Appendix to the Report of the Contagious Diseases Ordinance Commission, where the actual revenue received by the Government in 1865-66 is stated as $30880.15 instead of $7563.20.
I did not merely trouble Dr Stewart, Acting Colonial Secretary.
