I have the honor to request that you will kindly forward & recommend to H.E. the G.O.C. in China with a view to it's being forwarded to the competent authorities for effectment my applications as Assistant Superintendent of Police in Hongkong, since his departure, who has, I understand, been selected for appointment in Perak.
