Minute by the Captain Superintendent of Police
I have the honour to report that Mr. Travis is of exactly the age that I should prefer the Deputy Superintendent of Police to be as it is a place requiring activity and energy. These qualities I believe Mr. Graves does possess, and he has had an admirable training in official business. I shall be most happy to hear that the post has been put to Mr. Travis.
