New deposits made during the quarter, were: – the Chartered Bank of India Australia & China $30,000 and the Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation $50,000.
(b). These deposits were transferred to the credit of the Colony on the 1st January, 1883.
(C). The current account was closed on the 31st December, 1882, and the balance paid as usual, to the credit of the Colony.
(d). These items were also transferred to the Treasury on the 7th January.
