1. It is proposed to construct across the Tytam Gorge on the site shown in Drawing N. 1. a rubble and concrete masonty dam on concrete foundations with a view to forming a lake or impounding reservoir of 25 acres surface circa, and to contain about 300 million, gallons:

million gallons, it will however only be possible to store some 300 millions this being the extent of the holding capacity of the reservoir, but the contents of the latter will be suplemented during the whole of the dry season by an additional supply of some 130,000 gallons a day, from the perennial sheam which flows along the bottom of the Gorge. A daily supply of 130,000 gallons represents
