Belgian Embassy ask for any news that can be obtained of the
27 Belgians in Hong Kong.
Following particulars are given:
President of Hong Kong Belgian Association is Maurice Pirenne, Director of Belgian Foreign Bank (Far East). Two families and two civilians were interned in Stanley. A number of nuns have been confined in respective convents namely Carmelite Monastery at Stanley Point, Convent of Little Sisters of the Poor, Kowloon, and Convent of Sisters
of St. Paul of Chartres at Causeway Bay.
