telegram No.1101 of 14th September, reporting the death of Yam Hin-Tseuk, Class III clerk, Colonial Secretary's Office, Hong Kong.

On the assumption that Yam Hin-Tseuk reached his maximum salary of $2600 per annum on the 23rd March, 1942, the Crown Agents have calculated that the pension pay able to his widow is at the rate of $752.82 per annum.

We shall be grateful if you will arrange for a telegram to be sent to Chungking in the above sense, authorising payment of pension at the above rate with effect from the 22nd August, 1945, inclusive, subject to the widow making the usual statutory declaration. The date of her birth should appear as the 10th June, 1905, and the date of marriage as 11th May, 1927.
