Commander in Chief British Pacific Fleet has enquired what arrangements are in hand in London on behalf of British commercial interests in Hongkong, Shanghai, and other occupied territories.
2. I suggest that to save time reply be sent to Commander in Chief, British Pacific Fleet through the Admiralty repeating to Chungking and to me.
