Swiss Charge d' Affaires Shanghai reports that the Japanese authorities in Occupied China have ordered Liquidation of principal banks and certain private British firms. The Funds proceeding from the Liquidations are blocked, and no administrator of enemy property has been appointed to check the administration or receive the profits realised on firms which have been requisitioned. Certain enemy nationals have been permitted to continue their work.
