(2) Any alien who lands or disembarks, or attempts to land or disembark, contrary to the provisions of the said sections, shall be deemed, for the purposes of section 14, to have been brought into and landed in the Colony contrary to the provisions of this Ordinance.

(3) It shall be a defence to a prosecution under this section that the master, owner, charterer or agent took every reasonable precaution to prevent the landing or disembarking of any alien.

(4) No prosecution under this section shall be com- menced later than six months after the date of the alleged offence.
