(1) Application for entry permits can be made a many entry points including Taipo and all points authorised on northern land frontier; but Hong Kong seir is entry point most frequently used. Actual permits are issued at Hong Kong, Tazpo and Maoso only; it normally takes at least 8 days (during present rush period) to prepare a permit, counting from the data on which application is submitted.

(2) There is no change as regards consular visas except Chinese passports must now be viséd to be valid for Hong Kong. (3) Every effort will be made to avoid untoward incidents in such cases; but it is hoped that Chinese authorities will cooperate to extent of advising immigrante office (telegraphio address Imoff Hong Kong) of expected arrival of such personages,

(4) Such merchants can obtain frontier passes valid for 1 year from date of issue for 2 dollars Hong Kong; these passea allow holder to make any number of journeys into the Colony during their validity,
