Infringement of Hong Kong territory by Japanese aircraft

Addressed Hong Kong No. 116.

Refers to Hong Kong telegram to Canton No. 52 of 30th April (F 4161/4161/10).

Investigations prove no army aircraft was involved and General in charge of army aeroplanes gave personal assurance that there would be no repetition if army aircraft was proved to be concerned.

Offenders seem to have been naval aircraft. Quickest way to investigate wold be Commander-in-Chief to make representations to Japanese Admiral through Japanese Consul-General at Hong Kong.

Repeated Shanghai No. 70.

Can-Chief No. 60.
