Copy telegram from Commander-in-Chief No.353 (0302/10) of 10th December referring to his telegram of 3rd December (F 12456/3918/10). Quotes telegram from R.A. Yangtse (0853/9) stating that H.M.S. "Gannet" will be unable to proceed to Chungking unless she does so within next few days because of fall of river. Proposes to sail "Gannet" for Chungking before it is too late.
