Copy telegram No. 5659 (9/10) from General Officer Commanding Hong Kong reporting desertion on 6th October of No. 3054041 Private Hunter J. and No. 3055195 Private Morrison J. of Royal Scots and adding that Japanese local Commander reported that they had been apprehended and sent to Canton, and that efforts are being made to secure their return.
