In reply to your letter of the 27th
July, No. 6214/150/39, concerning the proposed enact-
ment of a Compulsory Service Bill in Hong Kong, I
am commanded by My Lords Commissioners of the
Admiralty to acquaint you, for the information of
the Secretary of State for the Colonies, that they
concur with the procedure contemplated by the
Governor and the General officer Commanding.
