Your telegram No. 127. Unless you desire earlier action I shall introduce the Bill during the week beginning the 17th July without previous announcement. This will enable me to send by air mail to-morrow copy of the text of my message to the Legislative Council and copy of the final draft Bill which I wish to amend in various minor

More important of the amendment are (1) clause 2 (2) combine sub-clauses (a) (b) and (c) into "combatant section" sub-allocation of which would be the Aarchie. of the proper military authority, (2) introduction of the new Clause enabling reserve to be disbanded without repeal of the Ordinance.
