Tientsin and our telegram No. 56279 of 26/9. Shanghai
Intelligence outpost to be restored to its original functions as
soon as practicable. Chinese-speaking G.S.0.3. therefore to be
at Shanghai and not repeat not at Hong Kong. Change in personnel
holding this appointment contemplated. Chauvin subject to final
M.S. approval will be appointed for this purpose. Millar again
subject to M.S. approval will be taking up appointment at
Singapore. G.S. Intelligence Shanghai to show this message to
Commander Shanghai.
