I, JUN KE CHOY (1) of 0.16 Connaught Road West,

Victoria in the Colony of Hong Kong, make oath and say as

follows:-

1. I am an officer of the Ministry of Communications of the Republic of China : I have received instructions arid am duly

authorised by the Government of the Republic of China to represent them in all matters connected with these proceedings. 2. I have for many years known and been well-acquainted with the Ching hee Steam Navigation Co. Ltd. which is a Company incorporated under the Laws of the Republic of China and registered with the Ministry of In ustry w..ich is now at Chunering. The Headfice of the said Company is situate at

Chefoo.

3. The said Company have been the owners of several

stea ships of which six have been lyin; in the waters of the Colony of Hong Kong since ugust 1937.

4. I have been advised by the Government of the Republic of

China en verily believe that the said Ching fee Stean

Navigation Co. Pte. is, under the instructions of my Government, being wound up and Receivers will be appointed

and that steps are being taken to appoint a Receiver in Hong Kong in respect of their properties including the
