At the request of the National Red Cross Society
of China received through His Majesty's Diplomatic
Mission at Chungking, I am directed by Viscount Halifax
to forward herewith a formal receipt for 8,000 gallons
of gasolene presented by the Scottish Red Cross to the
Chinese Red Cross Society, together with the original
and translation of the covering letter enclosing the
receipt.
