His Excellency
207
29th March, 1939.
My dear Vice-Minister,
With reference to my letter of the
7th February, I write to inform Your Excellency
that the Imperial Airways summer service to the
Far East will come into operation during the
month of April.
Under the summer schedule Imperial
Airways aircraft bound for England will leave
Hongkong on Tuesdays and Fridays as at present,
but aircraft from England will arrive on Tuesdays
and Fridays instead of on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The first aircraft from England to operate under
the summer schedule will arrive at Hongkong on
Friday the 21st April.
Believe me,
my dear Vice-Minister,
Yours very sincerely,
(sgd) R.L. CRAIGIE.
Mr. Renzo Sawada,
His Imperial Japanese Majety's
Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs.
