During the recent negotiations it came to my
notice that two other scholastic est olishmente claimed
British patronage : one, a school owned by a Jugoslavian
which had on its board "Registered at the Britisa Consulate
General Harbin, and the other, "The English Commerciai
College*, which is suministered jointly oy a Korean and
Lindaley. The necessary eliminations were insisted upon.
