The Under-Secretary of State for Foreign

Affairs presents his compliments to the Secretary

to the Board of Trade, and, with reference to the

letter from the Board of the 21st August, is directed

by the Secretary of State to inform him that no

objection is seen to the issue of a licence for the

export of the goods to which the application

No.7.1.236275 enclosed therein relates, provided that

the Chinese Ambassador in London is prepared to issue

the necessary permit for the importation of the goods

in question into China.
