published for general information.

the "China Order in Council, 1929".

Regulations Amending the Shameen land Regulatione
1908.
"The Sheme en Land Regulations, 1903" are hereby amended
by the insertion of the following kegulations to be numbe red
6(B) :-

His Britannio Majesty's Consul-General may at any
time when it appears to him thet en occasion of
imminent danger of great emergency has arisen,
by public notification declare that an emergency
existe, and thereupon a state of emergency within
the British Concession shall commence and continue
until such time as ille Britannic Majesty's Consul-
General by public notification declares that the
emergency has cessed to exist.
