29 & 30 Vict. cap. 10. An Act to provide for the issue of provincial notes. Statutes of 1866, page 51.
31 Fict. cap. 45. An Act respecting the currency. Statutes of 1868, page 114. This Act was repealed by 34 Vict. cap. 4., except section 2, which provides that the value of the 11. currency shall be eighty-nine grains and six hundred and one thousandths of a grain, Troy weight, of pure gold, or ninety-seven grains and seven hundred and forty-seven thousandths of a grain of gold of the standard of fineness prescribed by law for the gold coins of the United Kingdom on the 1st August 1854.
