May I refer to my letter of{12th February about the conclusion of the Defence Committee concerning
(205) Hong Kong at their meeting on 5th February.
As the Chancellor of the Exchequer is anxious to be in a position to report back to the Committee very soon, and as the end of the financial year is approaching, both here and in Hong Kong, I should be grateful for an early reply.
I am sending copies of this letter to Lawrence-ilson, Morrison and Vallgee.
