Would you please refer to the correspondence resting with Armitage-Smith's letter DEF 75/51/01 of 27th Karan about combined training ozeroises with the Auericans for the defenos of Hong Kong.
we have now heard from the Governor that the testing of V.H.F. and I.F.F. equipment will be carried out at sea betwean United States carrier-herne aircraft and two frigates of the Royal Navy. The Governor has no objection to this method of testing the equipment.
