Minute 1: Supply of Aircraft to Eire.
You approved the proposal that certain items of equipment required by the ire Government should be withheld for the time being.
In view of the increasingly helpful attitude of Colonel Mulcahy, 0.C. Tire Air Force, and of the advantages to ourselves which are resulting from his co- operation, the Air Staff wish to foster this useful contact by the supply of a few of the aircraft which the Fire Government now want.

Eire have asked for Battles, Harvards and Hurricanes, none of which we can afford to supply at present, but the Air Staff would like to offer 10 Hector type dual Control aircraft which would be very acceptable to Bire. These can be spared without supply or operational disadvantages to ourselves and this would
