We realize as you do the importance of preventing
Crete falling into enemy hands.
In light of
reinforcements being sent to you in near future report
whether and, if so, when you could prepare a small force
for Crete to stiffen resistance of local forces. This
force would not repeat not move until Greece had become
involved in war.
