Note on the Provision of V.L.A. Balloons, and Priority List recommended by Inter-Service Conference
Balloon Quantities.

(a) 5,000 V.L.A. Balloons have been requisitioned.

The Admiralty requirement in I.E. V.L.A.
Balloons is 500.
The R.A.F. requirement is 700.
(a) These figures include 30 I.E. with 150
Reserve (6 months) for Alexandria,
Forecast of Deliveries.

A tentative forecast of deliveries is 15 in the week commencing 7th October, The rate of delivery should go up to 60 per week in November and 100 per week in December. Safe figures for calculation would be:
