such notice in writing of the decision of the superior A.D. 1896. court shall be served by the registrar of the county court on the county council;
(f) Before any appeal is heard by a county court judge on any matter touching a valuation list the appellant may and if the appeal relates to the total of the gross of rateable value of any parish, or to there being no approved valuation list for such parish shall, give not less than one month's previous notice in writing of such appeal to the county council, and the county council may upon such notice make any order which the county court judge might make on appeal, and the county court judge, before hearing the appeal, shall be satisfied that the county council have declined or failed to remedy the matter appealed against;
(9.) The valuation list shall be conclusive for the purpose of determining the qualification of a person to serve as a member of a town council or of any urban sanitary authority;
(2.) Anything authorised by the Valuation Acts to be done by an assessment committee, with the consent of the guardians, may be done by the statutory committee, with the consent of the county council, and any act or consent authorised by the Valuation Acts to be done or given by the guardians, with or without the application of or other act by the assessment committee, may be done and given by the county council;
(i.) Any expenses authorised by the Valuation Acts to be paid out of the common fund of the union may be paid out of the county fund;
(j.) Where in any part of a county there is at the passing of this Act no assessment committee, the Valuation Acts shall apply in like manner as if they had heretofore applied to such part of the county, and an assessment committee had been duly appointed therein ;
16.—(1.)
