7. The Cabinet took note of a Memorandum by the President of the Board of Education (Paper C.F.-- 276 (28)) in which he outlined his proposals
regarding amendment of the present law relating
to Church Schools and stated the difficulties of
the problem regarding Roman Catholic Church Schools.
Lord Eustace Percy did not ask the Cabinet at this
stage to take any new decision, but he wished them
to be fully informed of the situation which had
arisen.
