The Cabinet took note that the Chancellor

of the Exchequer had informed the Secretary of the

Cabinet that there is no objection, from a financial

point of view, to the Report of the Inter-Depart-

mental Committee on the Civil Employment of ex-

Paper C.P.-106 (28)), and that the Treasury have

arranged to take the necessary steps for the

circulation of the Report to Departments, etc.
