The Secretary of State for War reported
that he had not quite completed his investiga-
tions in regard to the military aspects of
the proposal to reduce the garrison of
Egypt, and in these circumstances, more
especially in view of the absence of the
Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs,
the Cabinet agreed
To postpone the question for a later meeting of the Cabinet.
