15. The Cabinet had before them a Memorandum
by the Secretary of State for India (Paper C.P.-
229 (28)) covering further correspondence in
regard to the "No Tax movement in the Bardoli
Taluka, Bombay.
The Secretary of State for India informed
the Cabinet that he had not yet heard what
happened at the conference between the Viceroy of
India and the Governor of Bombay, nor had he heard
the results of the Deputation headed by Mr Patel
which was to be received by the Governor of
Bombay. He proposed to keep the Cabinet informed
of further developments.
