The Committee
(1) Invited the Commonwealth Secretary, after consultation
with the Lord Chancellor and Attorney-General, to submit to the Prime Minister the draft of a telegram to the Governor of Rhodesia on the lines indicated in the Prime Minister's summing up.
(2) Invited the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs to
arrange for an early approach to be made to the Portuguese Government regarding the supply of oil to Rhodesia through Mozambique, on the lines agreed in discussion.
