EXPANSION OF INFORMATION WORK IN THE MIDDLE EAST

The estimates of costs given below are based upon discussions which have taken place in the past with the various Agencies concerned. As costs may have risen meanwhile, the figures are subject to confirmation.

A.—Projects for which Immediate Approval is Sought

1. BROADCASTING

(a) An increase in duration of the British Broadcasting Corporation's Arabic Language Broadcast by half an hour so as to bridge the gap between the present transmissions at 1700 to 1900 G.M.T. and 1930 to 2030 G.M.T., so as to make a continuous transmission of 31 hours.
