This Ministerial Committee will be assisted by an Overseas Information Services (Official) Committee under the Chairmanship of Mr. C.F.A. Warner (Foreign Office) and comprising officials of the Colonial Office, Commonwealth Relations Office and Central Office of Information. The Treasury will nominate an official to attend meetings at which financial questions are to be discussed, and representatives of other Departments and of the B.B.C. will be invited to attend as required.
The terms of reference of the Overseas Information Services (Official) Committee will be:-
"To keep under review Government publicity to countries overseas
and the working of Government information services overseas; and to undertake such other tasks as may be assigned to it by the Overseas Information Services Committee."
