Note by the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs
At the meeting this morning of the Group of Ministers responsible for watching developments in Persia, I was invited to submit to Cabinet for consideration at their meeting tomorrow a revised draft of the reply I propose to make to the Persian Prime Minister's message to me of 8th May (GEN.363/3rd Meeting, Conclusion (3)).
Annexed are the texts of a draft telegram to H. M. Ambassador in Tehran and of the draft of my reply to the Persian Prime Minister, amended in the light of this morning's discussion.
