Hostel Accommodation
Normally men booked on lodging turns are accommo- . dated at official railway hostels, equipped with modern conveniences and suitable amenities for relaxation and refreshments. Where suitable hostels are not available and private accommodation has to be used for new turns, the difference in cost is paid by the Railway Executive.
It was proposed that the Heaton and Gateshead men would lodge at the official British Railways Hostel at Kentish Town, N.W.
