1. Immediately on receipt of orders to mobilize each Officer Commanding a Section will send a representative to the Chief Ordnance Officer to arrange the hour and place that ammunition, camp equipment, &c., will be issued.

2. His Ordnance representative will inform the Officer Commanding Army Service Corps as to the hour he will be ready to transport stores, &c.

3. He will place himself in communication with the O.C.A.S.C. with reference

to the transport of the troops of his Section.

4. He will inform the D.A.A.G. (A) as to where he will be found until he proceeds to the head-quarters of his Section.

5. The troops under his command will be rationed for the first day by the O.C. their corps. Should the troops mobilize after the dinner hour, then they will be rationed the following day by the O.C. their corps.

6. He will send as early as possible before mid-day each day to the O.C.A.S.C. an indent for the number of rations required for his Section.

7. He will draw one day's reserve ration of preserved meat and biscuit for his Section, which will be held in reserve until required.

8. On assuming command of his Section he will personally see that all the pre- arranged field works, &c., are being pushed forward with the utmost dispatch, and until their completion he will report daily to the D.A.A.G. (A) as to their progress.

9. He will send a daily state of his command to the D.A.A.G. (Ã).

10. He will see that the communications in his Section, both telephone and signalling, are in thorough working order, and that he is in communication with the Sections on his flanks and with the Fortress Head-quarters.

11. The Sections will get under arms immediately before daybreak, and remain so until the Outposts and Observation Stations report all correct and secure.
