Camp Equipment and Stores.-Camp equipment, stores, and tools required for use in this section are enumerated in the annexed Schedules XVII (8) XVIII (8).
All the articles are kept separate by the Senior Ordnance Store Officer ready for immediate issue, and on mobilization will be sent direct to the head-quarters of the section by means of transport to be furnished by the Officer Commanding Army Service Corps without requisition.
The Section Commander will receive the stores on the ground, and will sign the customary receipt vouchers.
Reinforcement in case of Attack.-All the infantry and guns from the Victoria Reserve, and, if necessary, from the Kowloon Reserve, can be brought up to reinforce this section in from one to two hours by the Wong-nei- Chong Gap Road.
Troops may also be brought to reinforce from Lyemun, either by sea or road, to Quarry Bay, and thence over the hill to the reservoir by Quarry Bay Gap, or if any enemy, having landed at Stanley, advances against the reservoir posi- tion, Lyemun troops may come down on his flank at Tytam Tuk by using the Tytam Gap Road.
Reinforcements from the southern sections may also be brought by the Bowen and Wong-nei-Chong Roads,
Communication. Owing to the hilly nature of the intervening country, there is only one road of communication between the two valleys, in addition to one which generally follows the line of coast.
There are good roads communicating from the Wong-nei-Chong Gap to both positions, and there is a road along the sea by which, if available, rein- forcements might come from the west, but a large amount of improvement of old and opening of new communications is required in this section, as shown on the map, to facilitate the movement of troops in it.
