(i.) Precautionary Stage.

1. The following movements will take place

To Island Section: 1 officer and 10 other ranks artillery companies.

The officers, non-commissioned officers and men of the engineer company will report to the O.C. E.L. and T. at Wellington Barracks, who will detail them to their respective stations.

(ii.) War Stage.

2. The Hong Kong Volunteer Corps having been called out for active service by proclamation of his Excellency the Governor, all Volunteers become subject to the Army Act, and the corps is now under the orders of the General Officer Commanding.

4. Dress: Field service order, helmet, khaki and putties, greatcoat in web carrier, mess tin, haversack and water bottle (filled), bandolier, waistbelt with ammunition pockets, rifle, and side arms.

6. 150 rounds of ball ammunition per infantry rifle and 60 rounds per artillery and engineer rifle will be issued on parade.

7. A party of 1 officer, 2 n.c.os. and 12 men will be detailed to proceed to Army Ordnance Department to draw small-arın ammunition and any equipment not already drawn during the precautionary stage for conveyance to headquarters.

8. The following additional movements will take place :-
