NOTES.
1. Water transport routine service will be arranged as required on mobilization being ordered. Routine service consists of constant launch service between Victoria, Lyemun, Devil's Peak, Stonecutters, Belchers, and Kowloon, surplus W.D. launches being kept under steam at the A.S.C. pier.
2. 50 coolies will be detailed daily for C.0.0. at precautionary stage for removal of ammunition to magazines, &c., until no longer required, same at war stage. These coolies will also carry out at war stage the transport of stores for hospitals and reserves not allotted to sections, drawing of which commences on third day of war stage.
3. Sanitary services performed under contract for troops in forts, &c. Field latrines for troops encamped. 4. Indian regiments provide their own water carriers and dhooly bearers (followers).
5. Mules will be used for moving 2·95-in. guns into position.
