The Governor would be much obliged to you if you would record, in your own words, the statement you made on the subject. Perhaps you would add, in your own words, the remark you made to the Governor as to a certain picture in a book, described by the Governor, and exhibited to you by Mr Q. C. Hayllar, being a very improper picture you should be sorry to have shown to your daughter.
