Sir,
Without entering into discussion with you as to some inaccuracies in your letter of the 17th instant, I am to inform you that the Governor thinks it desirable that you should not delay any further in complying with the request contained in my letter of the 15th instant, and making whatever observations you think fit.
The letter and documents are to be transmitted to the Earl of Kimberley.
